Joyce M. Goldstein, J.D.

PRINCIPAL

Joyce Goldstein has practiced law actively for over forty years and has extensive real estate experience. Her real estate background began in her family’s rental business, which managed more than 1,000 apartment units, and continued through her work as an enforcement attorney with NYC-Housing Preservation and Development Rent Control. Also, Joyce served as an Administrative Law Judge with the New York State Division of Housing and Community Renewal.

In 1996, Joyce entered private practice with Stanford M. Altschul in Mineola, New York. The firm relocated to Manhattan in 2006 and has since focused on transactional real estate matters, including purchases, sales, leases, and licenses. The firm does transactional work throughout New York City and the surrounding region, including Nassau, Suffolk, Westchester, and Rockland Counties and Upstate New York. Beyond real estate, the firm advises clients on small business formation, including LLCs, corporations, partnerships, operating agreements, and partnership agreements, as well as Estate and Trust planning, drafting, and administration.

Joyce is the epitome of a hands-on attorney, working directly with clients throughout each project and providing thoughtful, personalized guidance. Altschul & Goldstein, P.C. works to maintain a "large firm" conscientiousness with a "small firm" heart.
